I’ve never really led a life of fear. I had a wonder-filled childhood with parents who loved me and, more importantly, whom I adored. Sure we had our sadnesses. Any family does. But, I was gifted with a life full of exploration, dare and future thinking.

There is a power that sound and light has over me. Swells of strings, the pierce of a strong voice and the power of movement transfix me. I guess that is what theater is all about.

Julia Patrick Permalink I have had a few weeks to process the lives of Glenna and Lawrence Shapiro. First of all, I NEVER called him Lawrence, only Dr. Shapiro. In fact, it’s even hard for me to type his first name at all. Dr. Shapiro was always such a man of import and I revered him as a man of medicine.
